Red and White Stocking with Candycanes

The candy cane is a traditional candy at Christmas in the USA. The stocking stuffed with candy canes had its' origin in Germany when children believed if they would hang them on the fireplace mantle on Christmas eve, they would be filled with treats and presents on Christmas morning.
