Fairy Sleeping on Lotus Leaves
A tiny fairy with gossamer wings sleeps safely hidden away in the leaves of the lotus blossom. The flower of the lotus, as a symbol, is used for meditation, dream interpretation, creative art, spiritual healing, and esoteric study. Fairies are mythical creatures appearing in stories passed through the centuries. Most fairy folklore originated in Italy. Fairies, or faeries, are known to bestow gifts upon people they are attracted to, such as beauty, wealth and kindness. Using fairies for weddings adds a touch of "fairy tale" to the event.
