Christian Wedding Quotes

Choosing Verse For Your Ceremony

Using Bible verses in your ceremony is one of the best ways to insert a Christian feel to your wedding. Personalize your very special ceremony by choosing your favorite verses and incorporating them into the ceremony reading, vows, toast, and printed programs. Readings and quotes can also be incorporated into a unity candle or unity sand portion of the ceremony.

The two most popular Bible translations are the New International Version (NIV), which uses more modern language, or the New King James (NKJ) version, which tends to have a more "poetic" feel to the wording. Choose whichever translation best fits your personal style.
