Ohio Wedding Videographers

Capture live memories from your Ohio wedding that can be cherished for years to come.

You will be so thankful that you made videography a part of your wedding day once you realize that you will have the memories of your special moments right in front of you, whenever you feel like popping it into the VCR or DVD player.

Make room in your budget for a videographer, and then begin to research local professionals in the Ohio area. Ask the right questions, make special requests and you will be pleased with the tailored footage of your big day.

Choosing a Videographer

There are so many talented video professionals in the Ohio area, and each one of them is capable of capturing on video all of your special moments. But there are only a few who will suit each of your unique needs, and that is why you need to come prepared with questions when you are researching a videographer. A few to keep in mind:
  • What style does the videographer use when filming? Does he prefer a more documentary style of filming? Are they experienced in cinematography? Ask to see some example videos of past wedding that he has filmed.
  • How does the videographer typically set up a film? In other words, how does she like to tell a story? For example, does she interview key family and wedding party members, so that they may send you well wishes?
  • What kind of equipment does he have? Ask about cameras, lenses, computer equipment, microphones and so forth. These will all have an impact on the recording and editing process.
  • How much do particular services cost? Does the photographer have packages available for the bride and groom?
Once you have decided on a few videographers that will suit your needs, then it is time to begin the researching process. Here are a few videographers in the Ohio area that you might want to scope out:

Video on a Budget

If you cannot make room in your budget for a videographer, then consider calling on a well-trusted friend or family member, specifically, one who has video experience. One thing to keep in mind here is that having a wedding party member do double duty is probably not a good idea. There are specific moments that you will want on video that a wedding party member will not be able to capture because he or she will be a part of them. Instead, find someone who can be there to capture everything. Lastly, since you are trying to keep your budget down, in lieu of money you may want to give this person a special present or gift certificate to his or her favorite restaurant. No matter how many times he tells you he does not want a thing, a token of your appreciation will make him smile.

Now Go Have Fun!

Now that you have selected a videographer, it is time to sign the contract and get rolling. All you have to do is have fun and the videographer will be there to catch it all on film!
