Ohio Wedding Tuxedos

Hey, there, Ohio bride! Don't forget to dress the men in your life, too.

When it comes to a wedding, lets face it: The bride just really is the fashion center of attention. The dress -- oooh! The hair -- ah! And the shoes -- gotta have 'em! But the truth is the groom -- yeah, remember him? -- needs to look spiffy, too. So, it's a good thing you are hosting your wedding in the Buckeye State because when it comes to making a gentleman look dapper, including your groomsmen, Ohio has loads of unique and fun options for the husband-to-be.

Choosing a Tuxedo Shop

Selecting a tuxedo might seem like an easy task -- after all, he does only take about five minutes to get ready -- but you will want to weigh your options. First, consider the tuxedo style you want to see at your wedding. Is it a formal black and white bow tie? Or do you want a simple heather brown suit paired with a cream colored shirt and tie? The two of you must also, of course, consider the groom's style. If he has a tough time combing his hair, then formality may be out of the question. But if prepster is his middle name, then you do not want to consider anything too funky that will make him feel uncomfortable.

Once the two of you have narrowed down your choices, then it is time to consider looking around at a few shops. Well, in the Ohio area there are plenty, but here are a few to check out on your Tour de Tuxedo:

Making a Tuxedo Stand Out

Unlike a bridal gown, a tuxedo can be pretty blah if you do not add the right touches. Consider adding a fancier boutonniere to the groom's tux, so that he stands out from the groomsmen. A groom may also want to consider wearing a jacket that is a slightly different than his groomsmen's jackets -- another way to help distinguish him as the husband-to-be. Try a double-breasted jacket for the groom and a single-breasted tux for the groomsmen. The groom may also want to consider a unique vest, tie or bow tie.

A Few More Pointers

Make sure all of your groomsmen rent or buy their tuxedos at the same shop -- not matching is not an option! In addition, be sure to pick a store that will listen to your fashion requests. And, hey, if they keep trying to force on you a bright orange tux, a la Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber, then hightail it out of there!
