New York Wedding Ceremony Sites

Use your imagination when planning a special New York wedding ceremony!

Perhaps the most famous of New York City ceremony sites, Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Midtown Manhattan, hosts Catholic wedding ceremonies for parish members and residents of NYC. Plan to book at least one year in advance, and meet with a parish priest for a Pre-Cana meeting before your wedding date.

New York City's many city parks, like Manhattan's Central Park and Brooklyn's Prospect Park, offer couples of any budget a way to have a beautiful and special ceremony in a unique park and city environment. Contact the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation for information on necessary permits and guidelines.

The Campbell Apartment, located within Grand Central terminal, is the former private office of 20th century business tycoon John Campbell. Recently restored to its former glory, ceremonies for up to 75 seated guests can be hosted in this swank, dark wood-paneled room.

New York State Ceremony Sites

Your guests will be thrilled to attend a special ceremony in a genuine Long Island vineyard. Bedell Cellars in the Hamptons features room for 200 guests, as well as some of the best-reviewed of New York State wines.

The Finger Lakes region of New York State is home to the gorgeous. Majestic wedding photographs can be captured at the region's only wide-angle view of beautiful Keuka Lake.

Imagine exchanging your vows while overlooking the roaring spectacle of Niagara Falls. The Falls Wedding Chapel offers wedding ceremonies by hot air balloon, helicopter, or, if you prefer, on the grounds next to this national wonder.

Upstate New York Ceremony Sites

Enjoy your special day amidst the beauty of Saratoga Spa State Park at the historic Gideon Putnam Resort. Your guests can enjoy viewing natural mineral springs and geysers, cross-country skiing or the nearby thoroughbred action at the famous Saratoga Springs Raceway.

If a secluded mountain wedding is for you, contact the Adirondack Rock & River Guide Service, where you can host a small, self-administered gathering in the clearing by an Adirondack mountain stream.

Boldt Castle, on Heart Island in the Thousand Islands region of Upstate New York, is known as New York State's Taj Mahal. Built by turn-of-the-century millionaire George C. Boldt in honor of his wife Louise, construction was abruptly halted when Louise suddenly passed away. Restoration has resumed in recent years at this full size Rhineland castle, and wedding ceremonies, but not receptions, are performed at this romantic location during regular business hours.
