Many colors are appropriate for a spring wedding theme, from pastels to neutrals to bright colors. The only colors you might want to avoid are dark hues such as burgundy, deep purple and emerald greens. These are more appropriate for a winter wedding.

Pale pink, ivory and peach are another romantic combination. With this scheme, you can highlight flowers of the season, such as roses, tulips and peonies. You might want to highlight the rose as a main staple in a wedding with this color scheme. Programs might be printed on ivory paper with a simple rose pattern above and below the print. Top your wedding cake with a small bouquet of fresh flowers using the color scheme. Floating candles of these colors may be placed in crystal bowls filled with water on reception tables.
