The Fiji government requires that guests have valid passports that are good for at least three months beyond your Fiji vacation stay. In addition, you will need either a return ticket or a ticket for continued travel in your possession.

The weather in Fiji is perfect. The South Sea climate provides summer temperatures ranging from 72 - 88 degrees and winter temperatures from 66 - 84 degrees. Water temperatures are 77 degrees in the winter and up to 84 degrees in the summer. It does not rain often, but when it does, villagers and visitors love to stand beneath the warm refreshing downpour. Rain is infrequent and short-lived, but like all the natural wonders of Fiji it is greeted with delight and celebration.

Activities Activities are abundant and varied. From golf to fishing, there is something for everyone. The rainforests boast streams and waterfalls, exotic birds and animals, and lush vegetation. Natural waterslides entertain villagers and guests. You will not find leeches or crocodiles here. In fact, there are no dangerous animals or harmful insects in the Fijian Islands.

Fiji is rated among the top ten diving locations in the world. Hard and soft coral, in addition to the ever-changing views of exquisite marine life, create pristine diving experiences. With shipwrecks and grottos, there are surprises at every turn. If you do not scuba dive, snorkeling is a must. Shallow reefs filled with coral, fish, and turtles, lure you into a world of rare mystery.

A popular way to view Fiji's islands is through flight-seeing. Island helicopters, seaplanes and floatplanes are available for sightseeing from an elevated vantage point. It is a thrilling and memorable way to absorb miles of remarkable scenery.

Island cruises offer a fun way to mingle while visiting special locations. With entertainment and delectable meals, you can travel to special island spots for scuba or snorkeling adventures aboard sailboats or luxury powerboats.

Fijian Villages
Glowing with an untouched essence, Fiji is an island rich in culture. The Fijian people are warm and welcoming. River cruises transport you to villages where you can meet the local people. If you decide to travel to one of the villages, there are a few basic rules to remember.
  • Dress appropriately modest with your shoulders covered and nothing too revealing.
  • No hats, as this would be an insult to the villagers.
  • Remove your shoes when entering homes or village buildings.
  • Speak quietly, as loud tones are interpreted as anger.
  • Do not compliment villagers about personal belongings, as they may then feel obligated to give them to you.
